The highly manoeuvrable Mountfield MTF 98H garden tractor features a twin-bladed cutter deck which gives you a superb finish on your lawn. It is also more efficient than a single bladed system as it follows the contours of your lawn to give a much smoother and neater finish – and also the additional air flow created by the double action means that the clippings are blown into the 200-litre grass collector at a faster rate. The double blades also cut the grass much finer and therefore this model makes an excellent mulching machine.
This versatile garden tractor offers a total of 7 cutting heights that range from 25-80mm, and this is pretty standard on a ride-on of this magnitude and it gives you lots of options over how long or short you cut the grass. It also means that this ride-on is perfectly at ease at keeping a neat, manicured lawn in good order or for tackling something more unruly. For your peace of mind, Mountfield has added headlights, a bumper, a storage holder and for those hot days, a cup holder too! There’s even a safety breaker under your seat so if you accidentally leave your seat during operation the engine cuts out and the blades stop.
