The innovative twin bladed cutting system means essentially the grass is cut twice – making it smaller and therefore more efficiently collected, but also making it ideal for mulching. It also means that your lawn will be more skillfully trimmed leaving it looking shorter and neater, as the two blades follow the contours of your lawn more effectively than a single blade. This system also means that there is much less chance of scalping the lawn as you mow. The two blades also generate a higher rate of air volume and this means that the grass is directed into the collection bag at a faster rate – therefore ensuring the bag is filled to its maximum capacity, as there will be less air and more grass in the bag.
Simple and easy to drive, this Mountfield MTF 84H garden tractor is lightweight and compact and with its tight turning circle of 160cm you’ll find manoeuvring around corners to be easier than ever – and the reverse gear will ensure you can get as close as possible to your compost heap when it comes to emptying the grass collector, which incidentally features an alarm system to alert you to the fact it needs emptying. The semi-hydrostatic transmission works in the same way as an automatic car, it really is that elementary. You simply press or depress the pedal to go faster or slower and you use the back of the pedal to reverse.
